Brett Wing, Chief Executive Officer
Brett has been working in the financial services industry since 1990. During this period he has worked within the corporate environment of AMP Funds Management and Insurance and as an Adviser to corporate, ASX-listed and private clients on suitable protection and wealth programs. Brett has a deep understanding of the insurance and superannuation sector and is responsible for working with both the superannuation institutions and clients on developing suitable corporate employee benefit strategies. Brett is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and a Senior Associate Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
John Hefferan, Chief Financial Officer
John has 20 years’ experience in advising clients on financial solutions. In 2001 he established Qi Wealth, a privately owned financial services firm. Prior to this he spent ten years with both private and listed companies in Australia and the UK, including Opalcorp, Boosey & Hawkes (UK), Mercury Asset Management (UK), AMP, HarTec Ltd and QLD Chartered Accountants firm, Kitchen & Kennewell. John holds a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy from QUT, is a registered Tax Agent, and is a member of CPA Australia and the National Tax Association of Australia.
Tim Nicolle, General Manager
Tim’s experience in financial services has focused predominantly on creating enhanced corporate superannuation offerings and the management and servicing of corporate superannuation plans, specifically in the resource sector, including ASX-listed companies. Prior to working in the financial services industry, Tim was involved in setting the trade policy portfolio at the Department of the Federal Treasury (reporting to former Treasurer, Peter Costello). He has also worked in numerous analytical roles at the Australian Bureau of Statistics in National Accounts, Consumer Price Indexes and Analytical Services. Tim holds a First Class Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Adelaide and a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
Paul McMullen, Strategic Partnership Executive
Paul is responsible for identifying and executing partnership opportunities in Australia for Resource Super. Paul has been working in the resource sector since 2005. As the National Operations Manager at Vital Chemicals, Paul’s responsibilities include overseeing supply agreements and infrastructure delivery into Rio Tinto, Xstrata, Macarthur Coal, BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance, Vale and Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal. Vital Chemicals were nominated in 2010 for the Innovation in Climate Smart Technologies Award. Paul’s resource industry experience allows him to have a comprehensive understanding of the sector’s workforce. Paul holds a Bachelor of Education from Queensland University of Technology.
Jarrad Bleechmore, Corporate Superannuation Executive
Jarrad Bleechmore has been involved in the financial services industry since 2007, focusing on superannuation, finance, risk management and wealth creation strategies. Jarrad holds a Bachelor of Business (Finance and Financial Planning) from the University of Technology, Sydney.
